Dr. Carolyn was born and raised in Stow, Ohio. After graduation from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio with a Chemistry degree, she attended Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Go Bucks! Since her favorite part of dental school was her pediatric rotations, Dr. Carolyn decided to pursue a specialty with children. In 1990 she completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati.

When not working, Dr. Carolyn enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband, Steven Emrich, have twins Catie and Connor. Their favorite family activities include most outdoor activities, especially boating and hiking.
